MSCI, a leading global index provider, has released its latest ESG rating report for Modern Dairy, upgrading the company's ESG rating from A to AA. With this upgrade, Modern Dairy and its controlling shareholder, Mengniu, jointly rank first in China's food product industry.

Reviewing its rating trajectory in recent years, Modern Dairy has achieved continuous leaps: jumping three notches to BBB in 2024, upgrading to A in 2025, and further advancing to AA in 2026. Modern Dairy has continuously improved across the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions, with scores in all three pillars surpassing the industry average. The company has established a three-tier sustainability governance structure—encompassing decision-making, management, and execution levels—to ensure the effective implementation of its "FRESH" sustainable development strategy across all business operations.
